SEVEN WOMEN, KATHMANDU, NEPAL

With the help of Seven Women who are social enterprise dedicated to empowering degraded women in Nepal. This organisation gives education and employment which was founded by Stephanie Woollard, who founded Seven Women at age 22 after meeting seven disabled women working in a tin shed in Kathmandu. These seven women struggled for a living in the face of severe discrimination. With her last 200 dollars, Steph paid trainers to teach women how to make products to sell locally and abroad – and Seven Women was born. These Women has helped over 5,000 degraded women since its founding in 2006.

INVISIBLE CITIES, EDINBURGH, UK

Invisible Cities is a social enterprise which is run by Zakia Moulaoui. She is a fabulous woman, who after years helping people in difficulty internationally. This organisation train people affected by homelessness to give them tour guides of their own city. Their training gives them confidence and customer service. We work in partnership with professional tourist guides to create tailor-made tours and practice our routes. This organisation trained 52 people and raises awareness in homeless peoples.

JAIPUR RUGS FOUNDATION, JAIPUR, INDIA

The Jaipur Rugs Foundation empowers women in underprivileged areas to develop their skills which provide them with feasible livelihoods. This Foundation connect the local population and initiates them for good opportunities to become skilled makers in the carpet value chain and achieve feasible livelihoods as well as the benefit of social development. This foundation brought the world’s first social innovative company.

GREENMEBERLIN, BERLIN, GERMANY

GreenMeBerlin was founded by Claudi Sult. Sheis in a travel profession and business consultant also. She was obsessed with livable travel and lifestyle. Main aim of this organisation is to provide people with a valuable and easy-to-use resource for climate friendly trends and places in Berlin. They want to inspire as many people as possible to try something new and explore Berlin. By giving a voice to Berlin’s economic climate and green creators, they also want to encourage more business persons and entrepreneurs to connect and grow with each other. GreenMe is a social enterprise. They reestablished their profits in supporting the local organic scene, as well as part of the money generated.
