Before The Year Ends, We Must Say Thank-you To Our Best Friends

1. Thanks for being there through my worst times

I truly believe that I would not have survived all these difficult times in my life if I had not supported you.

Before The Year Ends, We Must Say Thank-you To Our Best Friends

You know all the right things to say; you are not afraid to apply hard love when you see that I need to come out of my illusions.

You have given me some of the best advice and motivation to move forward. You have listened. You were there. I wouldn’t be so strong today if it weren’t for you.

2. Thank you for celebrating my happiness like it was yours

You were the wind under my wings. You believed in me even when I lacked confidence in me. You celebrated my victories like they were your own. Only a true friend can do this.

My happiness would become greater and greater because I had to share it with you. And also because I had you to be happy for me.

3. Thank you for listening to my romantic dramas again and again

It didn’t matter if it was just a boy I liked or someone I used to hang out with. You were there to lie down with me on my couch and constantly analyze their every move.

Even though it wasn’t always fun or interesting but you knew I needed it. Even you probably had something better to do. You were there and I appreciate it.

4. Thank you for making memories with me

It’s amazing how many things two people can go through together in one year and all the years of friendship.

So many laughs, trips, vacations, new places in the city, old places, new countries and new people.

It really was such a great trip that I don’t want it to end. I hope we never stop creating memories and end up in the same retirement home.

5. Thank you for growing and evolving with me

We are not the same as we were the day we met. We have changed over the years and have accepted ourselves for who we are.

We pushed each other out of our comfort zones and challenged each other to be better and to reach the moon.

6. Thanks for accepting my apologies

Thank you for understanding that I am only human and that I make mistakes. I know there have been times when I have hurt you unintentionally or you feel bad. I still regret them.

But you have such a huge heart and sometimes you know me better than I know myself. You know why I reacted a certain way and what is behind it all.

7. Thanks for silencing my insecurities

I forget that I owe myself the same amount of love that I keep giving to others. I forget that I deserve better and my mind fills with insecurity.

Thank you for reminding me that I need to love myself more. I sometimes forget that. Fortunately, I have you to reassure me and fill me with confidence and hope.
